Summary: The purpose of this position is to manage projects, review, analyze and recommend traffic safety and mobility improvements.  This is accomplished by coordinating programs, projects, and contracts, reviewing, and evaluating engineering design submittals, researching, or piloting studies, ensuring all contracts comply with policies and regulations, reviewing schedules and recommending any traffic modifications.  Other duties include analyzing traffic and accident data, developing, and revising traffic policies, reviewing, and approving traffic control plans, and other duties as assigned.
