The Robert B. Willumstad School of Business at Adelphi University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor beginning August 2023. The Robert B. Willumstad School of Business is accredited by AACSB International.
Responsibilities:
The teaching load of the visiting assistant professor is 4 courses (12 credits) a semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
T eaching assignments may occur on the main campus in Garden City or at off-campus sites in Manhattan (New York City), or other locations on Long Island.
Courses are offered during the day, evenings, and on weekends.
Some graduate courses run on 8-week cycles, with 4 hours of classes weekly.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analytics, information systems, database management, operations management, supply chain management, or related areas at the undergraduate and Master's levels.
The successful candidate must have a record of strong teaching experience and evidence of scholarly work.
Professional experience is desirable.
A completed doctorate in a relevant discipline is preferred.
We are seeking candidates who have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
