Capital Improvement Program Manager – Speed Management
The City of Austin Transportation Department (ATD) is seeking an innovative Program Manager to lead our Speed Management Program in the Transportation Engineering Division. This is an exciting opportunity to implement national best-practice Vision Zero principles to move toward zero deaths and serious injuries on the City’s transportation network. The ideal candidate is proficient in transportation engineering safety, has an in-depth understanding of local and national speed management best practices, can work in a bustling work environment, and can effectively communicate with the public and elected officials. This position requires simultaneously managing multiple projects, and the ability to shift from one project to another without sacrificing quality. This position will work
