FUNCTION The City of Charlotte, Charlotte Water is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager in the Capital Improvements Project Management Group within the Engineering Division.   SUMMARY This position is responsible for supervising complex and difficult civil engineering tasks in connection with the design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance of public water and sewer infrastructure including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants and facilities.  This person will primarily select and work with consulting engineering firms to perform preliminary engineering, final design, permitting, bidding and construction phase services.   MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Manages projects to ensure schedul
