The Center for Watershed Protection (the Center) is a national, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to protect and restore our streams, rivers, lakes, wetlands and bays. The Center is looking for a Watershed Planner with at least three years of experience in the watershed management field, with skills and experience including any or all of the following:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Biology) is required. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills, and be comfortable doing occasional field work, and working in teams. On occasion may be expected to lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Experience in project and grant management is a plus. This position is primarily virtual but will require some travel to Maryland, Pennsylvania, and other parts of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
