Ballinger is seeking talented and forward-thinking Plumbing Project Design Engineer with 4+ years’ experience in engineering design and consultation. As a Plumbing Project Design Engineer with Ballinger, you will enjoy outstanding opportunities for innovation, creative problem solving, and direct collaboration with project team members.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Lead moderate complex and/or multiple projects
Work under direction of senior project engineer and/or Technical Lead on selected projects
Interface with the client on project issues
Direct and perform engineering on projects: Develop, execute design and drafting from schematics
Manage drawing production for projects when assigned as the project engineer
Interface with all other disciplines
Mentor junior staff
Have or develop expertise in all Ballinger project types: research buildings, science and academic, hospitals, corporate offices – technically complex building projects – renovation and new construction, etc.
Knowledge of relevant building codes & standards applicable to Ballinger project types
Manage time to coordinate project deadlines and project staffing
Travel when required
The candidate must possess advanced communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Additional requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Preferred
Revit and CAD Proficient
