The Construction Management Department at the University of North Florida (UNF) invites applications for a non-tenure-track Instructor/academic advisor position in the Construction Management Department of the University of North Florida commencing in August 2019. The position is a 12-month appointment with teaching and academic advising duties. The successful candidate is expected to teach classes included in the curriculum of the department and demonstrate a capacity to work and engage with the diverse student body. The teaching load includes one course per semester and one in the summer. Effective academic advising is a major requirement for this position. An undergraduate degree in Construction Management/civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required and a master’s degree in Construction Management or a closely related field is preferred. Collegiality, active service and participation in governance in accordance with the vision and mission of the department, college and university are also expected.
