The Engineering Trainer will be a sharp, motivated self-starter who will design, develop, implement, coordinate and deliver engineering training and development programs throughout Doka North America. This person will be instrumental in ensuring the transfer of his/her engineering know-how through the competent delivery of basic and advanced level trainings.
Assist with the design and development of training programs and/or modify existing trainings for Doka North America, ensuring the learning objectives are clearly aligned with the training measures.
Partner with management to understand and prepare for current and anticipated trainings.
Collaborate with management and choose appropriate training methods (mentoring, on the job training, class room training, etc.)
Design and prepare educational aids and materials
Track employee trainings and update department heads and managers with information detailing who attended and completed training within 30 days of training course completion
Monitor follow-up training to ensure managers are informed and employees receive additional training as needed and in a timely manner.
Create and maintain training program evaluation and feedback surveys. Assess instructional effectiveness and summarize evaluation and feedback surveys to determine the impact of the training
Identify deficiencies and collaborate with Head of Engineering, Engineering Managers and HR to modify as needed ensuring a greater impact for the participants
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Assist in developing train the trainer sessions as needed.
Ensure participant training materials are prepared for training programs. Copy and distribute training materials.
Maintains a well-organized central repository of all engineering training materials.
Capable of working independently in fast paced environment with changing priorities.

·Proven work experience in coordinating multiple projects (training, learning and development experience preferred)
·Degree with a concentration in Civil/Structural Engineering or Training, Organizational, Instructional Development or similar discipline preferred.
·Minimum of 6 years of civil/structural engineering experience, Formwork training experience preferred.
·Strong organizational skills
·Adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities
·Capable of working independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
·Must be an energetic, enthusiastic, and positive collaborative team player
·Strong attention to detail and able to fully understanding position requirements and expectations
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
·Strong interpersonal and professional verbal skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
·High level of proficiency with MS Office applications advanced Excel and Power Point skills required.
·Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills, technical proficiency and effective problem solving skills.
·Reliable with excellent follow through skills.
·Geographically mobile, open to relocation.
