To help fulfill this mission, the agency is seeking candidates for the executive leadership vacancy of the Director, Office of Transportation Management located in Washington, D.C.
The incumbent of this position leads and directs a technical staff in the development and implementation of national policies and programs to reduce congestion and improve the movement of people and goods across the transportation system. The incumbent provides guidance to internal and external transportation stakeholders in the deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems to improve routine and non-routine transportation management.
